What will set 2019 up for success

2019 or any new year or in fact any day, do this and it will set you for success
every time. Ok! so what is it, everyone is looking for that goal or thing that will
make the new day, new year click all into place for happiness right? 

Well here it is... Your happiness!, Oh wait you say, that is at the end result of what
I want!! So then what do I have to do to get the happiness... is it the job, relationship, idea, money etc? 

Here it is, you ready??!!**  Your happiness will lead you to the happiness! So what you
are looking for as an end result is actually what you need to be seeking for first, its is your
                                         *** HAPPY ****    ****HAPPY***     *** HAPPY***  feeling.

The way you feel is the "MOST" important thing you can do for yourself today and every
year! Because when you care about how you feel first then you will be choosing your 
thoughts- affirmations- goals- visions- job - relationship- from that point of view. 
                                    ***HAPPY VIEW***    *** HAPPY VIEW*** 

When you do everything from "HAPPY", (you feeling good)  you and I both know that when
you are standing and looking out to life  from "HAPPY" then you will  reach for better because we feel good. Everything is better when we feel good. We think better, enjoy things more, make better choices of food, relationships, business, money, everything gets our best focus.

So there you go! Think and feel from happy, then.... you will have inspired action to make your choices for today and every New Year! 

Not happy! That's OK, You are just on the other end of a place to make any decision that will 
benefit you, so then here are a few things you can do to get your "Happy" on! 

Quiet time is the most important thing you can do for yourself is  pause whirling thoughts in your mind of life. Pause them down by breathing slowly and focus on a sound, look at a burning candle, listen to a neutral sound in your house, focus on something . When your quiet you will feel connected to your inner being of all that you desire. 

I Appreciate.. go outside and look around in nature and out loud be in great appreciation of the beautiful sunrise, sunset, sky, clouds, stars, ground, rocks, anything you see. 

Fun Fun Fun sheet... this is really fun and works well... On a piece of paper of write the word
Fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, going to the creek, fun fun fun, picnic on a sunny warm day, fun fun fun fun fun fun going for a walk fun fun fun fun seeing my grandchildren smiles, fun fun fun fun fun fun being quiet and relaxing, fun fun fun fun going for a drive looking for deer, fun fun fun writing a note of appreciation....    Those are just examples of things that came to my mind when writing the word fun. You write the word long enough until your mind creates the action.  Do this for a full page or two.  You can use the word Happy, Peace, Joy, whichever feels best to you!

This is ALL about you, not about your family, friends, or what anyone else thinks you should do its all about YOU and that is the only person you can truly develop. When you do that you will be the best influence for others.  

Having your happy on is "not" about  faking it till you make it. It is encouraging you till you feel it! Choose to reach for a happy good feeling and trust me all will look different very quickly! 

Let you in on alittle secret... Today I woke not the best happy. I have spent the early morning  listening to things that encourage me, had my quiet time, did my appreciation outside, 
decided to blog to you and after doing this all this and what I have suggested to you. I can 
say my internal feelings are aligned with who I am created to be, relaxed, peaceful, and happy. I am ready for this day from a different point of view that I arose.  

Today I choose my happy, but I have also done things that have encouraged my happy! 
My Happy is Cindy's responsibility, no one else. 


Then when your feeling good and happy is on, sit down and write out whatever you want to about the New Year or the new day! Then you can trust that you have aligned yourself with the best you can and the decisions you will make from that will serve you well my friend!

Twas the Thought Before the Thought

Do you wear a crown, is that how your feeling? Some may laugh but you deserve to feel like a queen and to have what a queen has. Oh Cindy get real you might say, I have this and that going  or I  didn't do that so the feeling of great worthiness is not for me. 
I want you to know that is so far from the truth. 

The feeling of worthiness and everything else we desire in life  comes from our thoughts that now have formed our beliefs. Twas the thought before the thought. 

Our beliefs about ourselves is an accumulation of what we have been thinking long enough to form a habit or pattern in our lives.  The thought just before the new thought is usually the way the next and the next thought is going to go. So you want love, joy, fun, abundance, health, think thoughts of that and you might say but thats not what it is. Then it is reality instead of expectation is what your determining yourself and your future to be like.

Because Thoughts do turn to things. It is a universal law it has been happening all of your life and will continue to, you can't stop it. Example: someone says its cold season, everyone around me will get it and then it will be me.  OR everyone around me seems to catch a cold in the winter but I am in appreciation that my body is in its natural well being state and it will pass me by.  Which sounds better to read?  Which feels better to say? We do it in absolutely everything.  We have been programmed to re call rehearse  and  re call the past and if you like your results great continue on.  If your ready for a change and want goodness, peace, joy, abundance then you will have to choose those thoughts on purpose until it then becomes the habit and pattern that you are reaching and eager seeking daily.

Celebrate yourself

We have a tendency to celebrate others, thank them, send them cards, give them gifts to make them feel special, accepted and loved. May I suggest you ponder, if that makes ones feel all those lovely things, is there any reason we shouldn't do it for ourselves instead of waiting and hoping someone notices us. 

Here is a great secret. You will do yourself well by caring for yourself first and then others. Think if your gas tank was empty and you filled everyone else's so you could be considered a helpful and giving person and let yours unattended, how long and far could you go. 

So fill  yourself daily. I like to do an appreciate list of all of nature  as I look up in the sky and around. I tell myself its going to be a good day and I appreciate my body that is going to carry  me everywhere in wholeness. I appreciate that I am pure positive energy and my thoughts will be uplifting and encouraging to myself first and then others. As I can only give to others what I have given to myself.  

I hope you see how valuable you are and well deserving for the very best.

There guiding me, showing me, supporting me, loving me, aware of me, helping me, loving me, assisting me, helping me, aware of me, showing me, guiding me, loving me, No matter where I go, who I am with, no matter what I am doing you are there with me always!

Let's bake a pie

When making a pie you read the recipe and carefully choose your ingredients. You usually prefer fresh products as this gives it the awww that is such a good taste and brings a good feeling to every bite. Looking at this pie here, my mouth waters, why? it has the appearance of being so Yummy! You are eager to share or maybe not LOL as others  want to join in just because of the way they can see its going to deliver desire!  

Let's make a similarity  to our self talk. Say our words are our ingredients and they create the life we are thinking after we bake them in our minds for awhile (which  is exactly what they do by the way). So knowing that we are responsible for our own pie and how it turns out, I encourage one to choose  appreciation, eagerness, happy, love, fun words - thoughts for the paving to the life you truly desire. Sift and sort out the old thoughts and past, they are clumps that when you bite into them it is dissatisfying. Create a satisfying life, baking happily daily!

ALL YOUR EMOTIONS MATTER

What, ALL my emotions matter? I thought I was suppose to cover those ugly ones up, pretend they don't exist, don't let them out, hold them in, then burst.

Let's look at this view point.  

Emotions are your personal self giving information. Your emotional scale. Indicator of which direction are you going...
One of  two ways...
Feeling good with no resistance or not feeling  good with resistance going on.
The most important thing for you is to be aware of "where your at" and then ask yourself does the "thought" I am thinking give me an increment of relief bringing me closer to feeling good.  Note: Feeling good is ALL anyone really ever wants. We do all sorts of things to make ourselves better.

Interesting note here: every fiber of your being desires to feel love. When your not feeling good ( lower end scale emotion )  that is an indicator that your well being is out of sync with how you were created to be. True self empowerment occurs  with the alignment of the good feeling - well being connection. 

Right here we need to pause and tell you to stop beating yourself up on how your feeling. It is also not up to anyone else to decide what is good for you. Example: If someone was in depression and then moved up out of depression and was just angry, does that feel like a step up instead of a step down? Step up! For someone who was in depression for them to make a huge leap to happy immediately,  doesn't that seem like a overwhelming task? I hope your feeling where I am going with this.

All emotions matter, some are a step up or step down to what you are desiring. Take the sting and condemnation out that they are bad or wrong. They are your personal message to guide you onto a new path.

Tip: Deliberately reach for a particular thought that brings a better feeling than the one your thinking.  This technique practiced repeatedly will regain your power. That will turn into a habit.

Align yourself for joy

I have joy joy joy down in my _____ heart! See you know that song and I am glad you do. You were born for joy! 
Your purpose is to have joy. The desires of your heart are to be yours.  Sounds good and feels good when its present.  

But you might be reading this and saying but Cindy I don't feel it.  Well then, that is  just an indicator that your awareness button is blinking and  something needs to shift. 
 
Sit and quiet your mind, become aware of your breathing. Feel the rise and fall of your chest.  
Say to yourself out loud or within.. 

This is a really good new day, breath in ......and  out
This is a new beginning for me, breath in .... and out 
I am peaceful in this moment,  breath in ........ and out
I have peace in my mind , breath in and .... out
I have peace in my heart, breath in and ... out 
I believe peace is for me, breath in and ... out 

I believe joy is for me in this really good day
I believe joy is for me everyday, breath in and ... out 

I am a creative being, breath in and ... out 
I will allow myself to feel joy, breath in and ...out 
I quiet my mind and breath in things that bring me joy, breath in... and out
Breath in what those things are.... breath in and.... out

Repeat as often as needed.  

Your breathing in, is your life giving source that allows alignment to start to take place within. 
Becoming  more focused and aware of your breathing with words that are encouraging and filling, 
you will notice a shift taking place to creating a new you.  

Taking responsibility for yourself is a joyful feeling.

Cindy's Interview On Essential Oil

1. How did you get started with essential oils?

It was in 1985 when I was on my newly begun holistic journey through using herbs and I was introduced to essential oils. Anything that has a high value to healing I was curious as my immediate family had passed away from side effects of prescribed medications from illnesses and I wanted an alternate for mine and my children’s health.
 
2. Different ways people are using essential oils?

The simplest way is inhalation.  This is easy and comfortable for people as when it gets on their skin; they feel there is no backing up.  Diffusing is another very comfortable way and they feel it’s a great aroma for their room or area diffused in. Also, not on the skin so they feel safe using it this way. Topical is very beneficial if you have trusted quality, quality is very important. Use directly and on reflex points.  
 
3. Unusual ways to use essential oils.

I have used essential oils on horses, dogs, pigs since 1985. There are also very powerful in cooking, don’t need much, just a drop maybe two when your quality is good.
 
4. Biggest mistake people make with essential oils.

Not getting the true understanding of the quality and applications from very trusted sources that have had experience usually from just what someone else said or did. Since I have been in it holistic world since 85, I have seen a lot of companies and marketing come and go. Know your source!!!  When people say that oil is too expensive I can’t use that, they are not understanding the extend of what that oil can do for the body.  You need to decide am I using it to give me just a good feeling because of the way it smells or do I need it to help my body recover. The right quality oils can do more than you can imagine.
 
5. Advice for just getting started. Budget.

​In my 30+ years I still have my favorite trio. That is Lavender, probably the safest oil and it is called the universal oil, Tea Tree oil and Peppermint oil.  I have carried these 3 in my purse and in my tack room in the barn because no matter what I am dealing with one of these 3 is going to benefit the situation at hand immediately.  So I would suggest starting with any of these 3 and if I was going to pick just one, it would be tea tree oil. My husband calls it my snake oil. LOL. But it works for so many things.
 
6. If I picked only one oil..  

If I was going to pick just one oil to have on hand, it would be tea tree oil. My husband calls it my snake oil. LOL. But it works for so many things. Everything thing from stopping bleeding, to sore throat to infection, fungus, I could go on and on. My husband says it’s my snake oil. LOL
 
7. Signature blend.  

I do make my own insect repellent, fly spray, face spray, migraine spray, pain spray,    whatever I or someone else needs, I will come up with my own blend.  It is different for each individual needs and emotions.
 
8. Cold weather.

Tei- Fu, wonderful for congestion. Inhale over warm water on stove. Put on warm towel and put around your neck to open you up. On your feet, up your nose, on your chest. It’s really good.  Essential Shield essential oil protects against germs and Lemon is always so cleansing, use these last two to wipe your counters down.  This time of year we close our houses up and we wear more clothing so the skin doesn’t get the fresh breath air as we normally do in warmer weather. So essential oils that are high in oxygen when diffused are great in the air for everyone to breath. Oxygen gives life to our cells and body.
 
9. Parting words.

I am very honored you asked me to give my thoughts on what I feel has rescued myself and my family from  illness or injury due to  the prevention and /or recovery we gave the body immediately with essential oils  to heal itself.
I would like to add that your mindset plays an important part of what kind of results you will get with the oils or anything for that matter. Whatever you believe and think about them that is most likely what it will be.  Balance and true healing comes when the mind and body are in agreement of any belief. So when choosing gathers your information, make a decision and believe in what you’re doing.  Disclaimer: this is all for educational purposes and in no way intended to diagnose. Gratitude

 Hectic schedules fill the lives of almost every person today. Our lives can often put us into a state of mental anxiety.  Financial pressures, health issues or relationship problems are a part of everyone’s life from time to time. These things will vary in magnitude and intensity from person to person but one thing is the same and that is all of us will face at least one of these hurdles some time in our lives. The thing that does vary widely is the way that each person deals with them.
   In these times of high stress what then can be done to relieve the pressure that these issues can cause. One thing is for sure though, and that is this, if we don’t find a way to effectively deal with these types of problems they can have devastating consequences. It is in times such as these that people often turn to things such as over eating, elicited relationships, drugs or alcohol or all the above. These things offer only temporary relief at their best but, each of these type things make as much sense as hitting yourself in the head with a hammer to get rid of a head ache! In other words, they simply make things in your life much worse. There is one thing though that will help. This thing is available all the time to everyone.
 Wallace Wattles famous quote from his book the Science of getting Rich sums it up.
The whole process of mental adjustment and atonement can be summed up in one word: Gratitude!
 The apostle Paul said it this way in first Thessalonians 5:18 “in all things give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
This act of being grateful for what you have is a definite life changer it will shift your thoughts and feelings from what your life lacks to the abundance that you already have. When your thoughts shift to that of the blessings that you already have in your life it is forming a foundation for future abundance.
     Gratitude, turns what you have into enough, it will bring order in to replace chaos. It gives us understanding about our past, offers peace for today and opens doors of vision for tomorrow!
     When your problems are weighing heavy on your shoulders more than likely the last thing that you will want to do is to be thankful; but do it anyway because you are now aware of the power that gratitude has. It is in fact the mental adjustment that has the power to save your marriage or any troubled relationship no matter who or what it is with.
All things are relational.  Your thoughts are relative to your actions. Your feelings are relative to the health of your body.  Your relationships with money either attracts it to you or pushes it away from you. How you relate with people will either draw them to you or cause them to draw back from you.  Animals are especially keen to this law of nature. They are drawn to those that are peaceful and they instinctively move away from confusion and chaotic thoughts.
 
Since practicing gratitude is a peaceful lifter of your attitude the grateful mind is filled with high desire. The best thing that anyone can do is to develop the habit of being grateful.  You can train yourself to be thankful first by making a list every day of the things in your life that you are grateful for. Then practice it every chance  you get.  Repetition is the first law of learning so repeat your thoughtful attitude and behavior over and over and over again.  When you are genuinely appreciative for the people that you meet on a regular basis your life will become supported with good and it will bring more of the same.  Like gravity, being in a continuous mental state of gratitude is a law of nature. It holds the power to instantly and dramatically change your attitude for the better and the results that you get in life are directly tied to your attitude. Your attitude is your responsibility.

Peace is the Season

Greetings,

I was just sitting here doing my morning routine of a Thankful list, Sending love to myself and to other people. Then I picked up "The Mentor In Me" book and started reading the first chapter again. The chapter is called Animal. Sounds odd but when you read the chapter you totally understand what the author,William Todd, is speaking of.

You see this book is about 7 levels of awareness that will bring you to a place of understanding of yourself and when you do that  you then have a choice of what to do about it.  The blame game stops, you now take responsibility for the results you are getting in life.

Back to the first chapter. This speaks of react or respond. We all have an animalistic behavior that when faced with a threatening situation and that is to fight or flight and Dennis as he  works with the horses, likes to add freeze.  In this book, William speaks of learning to respond instead of react to situations is the first step to achieving sustainable success in all areas of your life. 

So this morning I was thinking around at all my personal Santa land I have created for this season and it brought my mind to the season of what people are doing that they normally wouldn't be doing in other times of year!  What is that? Well, lets list the shift, change in focus of life here for the next 30 days. 

Let's look at what you might be doing "more of" for the next 30 days. Connecting with people in many ways  that leads to  more shopping, more spending, more organization, more cleaning, more travel, more decisions, more shopping, more traveling,  That's a lot of mores just as we connect with people through dinners, parties, meetings for all gatherings.

Now, my question to you my friend, whom I know you would like to look at that one sentence and say, I am so thankful that I get to do all those things, it will bring meaning and peace to all who are effected by it.  Now, I know that, that is most likely not what your mind was thinking as you read all the mores!  Your mind probably got tired and started to race off of all the what if's, why's, oh no's, how can, do I have too??  

Let's bring some good cheer to you and I am here to tell you that you can respond instead of react to all the mores and any situation you face.  Here is the Key!! It is your choice what you do.  You  will benefit greatly by taking control of yourself, not others and you choose through your brilliant attitude that you are not going to let situations control, so that you air on the side of responding  instead of react. 

  How do you do that? Great questions, start now with a thankful attitude, look around you and start being thankful for what you already  have  and then be thankful for the peace that is going to be in all situations that is going to come. Be thankful as you shop for the store, the selection, the clerks. Making decisions of where to shop, who to invite, how to get there  will give you a sense of direction. Thankful this season is requiring cleaning that has been left undone, thankful for the organization that is required for functions, you get the picture.  Turn the UGHH into being thankful for and finding the benefits of peace, purpose and meaning for a new season.
